Create a plan
POST/v1/parts/:id/plans
Queues a machining plan for an analyzed part and returns a job. Track the job, then read the plan with Get a plan (GET /plans/{planId}) or List plans (GET /parts/{id}/plans).
Early access. Machining plans and toolpath calculation are available now but still gaining functionality — planned additions include plan constraints and specifying material and stock, among others. Breaking changes still follow the API major version, so you can build against them today; expect new capabilities to arrive as they mature.

The planning job was accepted; poll /plans/{planId} for the result.
The request is invalid.
The API key is missing or invalid.
The API key may not perform this operation: it has no access to this part of the API, it may only read it, or its creator has not met the organization’s two-factor requirement.
The part does not exist.
The part source has not been uploaded, or the Idempotency-Key was already used for a different operation.
The planning job could not be submitted.
